How to Delegate Access to your Nexus365 (Office365) Calendar on macOS

There are several ways to delegate access to your Nexus365 (Office365) calendar from your Mac system, we recommend setting the permissions in Outlook Web Access:

Outlook Web Access

Login to the Nexus365 web access, you can do so by clicking on the link here.

  1. Click the Calendar icon at the bottom of the outlook webpage
  2. Hold down the control button and click or or double tap on your TouchPad on your Calendar from the Your Calendar section and click Sharing Permissions
  3. In the window that opens search for the person that you wish to add and then set the relevant permissions.
  4. Click Share and Done to close the Calendar Permissions window.

Outlook for Mac

Setup Outlook for Mac to connect to your Nexus365 Mailbox, open Outlook and do the following:

  1. Click the Calendar icon at the bottom of the outlook window
  2. Hold down the control button and click or or double tap on your TouchPad on your Calendar from the My Calendar section and click Sharing Permissions
  3. In the Calendar Properties window that opens click Add User search for the person that you wish to delegate access to and then set the relevant permissions.
  4. Click Ok to close the Calendar Permissions window.

Apple Calendar

Setup your Mac to connect your Nexus365 calendar in System Preferences > Internet Accounts. Open Calendar and do the following:

  1. Click on Calendar > Preferences > Accounts from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
  2. Select the Exchange Nexus365 account in the left hand panel and click the Delegation tab.
  3. Click the Edit... button next to "You can change who can access your account by clicking on the Edit button"
  4. Click the + icon to add a user and search for the person you wish to delegate access to and set the appropriate permissions for your Calendar and Tasks.
  5. When you have finished adding the delegate access click Done and close the Calendar preference window
