Greenlight for Girls
Free one‐day girl‐focussed event demonstrating the fun in science through hands‐on workshops and activities run by volunteer role models in STEM fields. The event is open to the local community for up to 100 attendees aged 11-14 years. The day will also include a tour of Pembroke College and lunch in the college's dining hall.

We now have had over 100 expressions of interest. If you complete this form, you will be added to a waiting list, and if some of those who have expressed interest do not register, we will be opening up more places to those on the list.

Colloquia Series Hilary Term 2017
The following lectures will be given at 3.30pm on Fridays in the Martin Wood Lecture Theatre, Clarendon Laboratory, Parks Road (unless otherwise stated). Tea will be served in the Physics Common Room at 4.30 pm.
The aim of the colloquia series is to share with members of the department the latest information on physics research and developments. Undergraduates, graduates, postdocs, faculty members and support staff are all encouraged to attend these lectures.

Schools Physicist of the Year Awards (SPotY)
Awards ceremony to recognise the most promising Year 10 physics students in the region.
Students have been nominated by their teachers based on their excellence or enthusiasm in physics. All nominated students will receive a certificate and small prize.
