Who's who in OSMOSIS?
The OSMOSIS consortium is a group of oceanographers working at different universities and research institutes across the UK. It is composed of scientists with a wide variety of backgrounds - some are happiest making measurements from a boat on a storm-tossed ocean, while others prefer to drown themselves in the complex computer code which underlies advanced climate models.
The consortium was formed specifically for this research project. Some members of the consortium devote all of their time to working on OSMOSIS projects, while others are members of a number of different such projects and so provide links from OSMOSIS to the other cutting-edge research in the UK and abroad.
