The event is part of the international Greenlight for Girls programme. See below for registration details.

What is Greenlight for Girls?

Greenlight for girls is an international organisation devoted to encouraging girls to study science, technology, engineering and maths. They began this work about 5 years ago and since then have reached more than 13,000 students by conducting 90+ hands-on events and activities across five continents with the help of over 2,000 volunteers!

What are the workshops?

We are inviting role model professionals and organisations to lead 45-minute, hands-on workshops that are all about science, technology, engineering or maths. Everyone will get to try three workshops over the course of the day, and each workshop will have 12-15 girls at a time.

The Venue

Most of the day will be hosted at the Physics Department of the University of Oxford, split between the Denys Wilkinson Building and the Martin Wood Building. However we are thrilled to also be spending some time at Pembroke College, one of the University's colleges that is nearly 500 years old! Lunch will be served in Pembroke College’s beautiful dining hall, and the girls will also be given a tour of the college.
