I am a DPhil student working with Gianluca Gregori and Sam Vinko within the Atomic and Laser Physics department. I primarily research the microscopic quantum interactions of Warm Dense Matter, a dense plasma system commonly found in planetary and stellar interiors, and in inertial confinement fusion implosions on Earth. Beyond warm dense matter, I am also interested in astrophysical magnetic field effects.
I work on both computational projects, using molecular dynamics and fluid codes that scale to High Performance Computing systems, and also on experiments at high power laser facilities, including the Central Laser Facility, OMEGA, GSI, and LCLS.
