Admissions interviews for the Department of Physics are purely academic in nature and, while there is no formal syllabus, knowledge of the entrance test syllabus material will be assumed. You are likely to spend the great majority of your time talking about physics or mathematics, rather than about any wider interests you may have mentioned on your application form. Interviewers may, however, choose to ask you about specific topics you have mentioned on your form, so please ensure that you are familiar with any topics you have mentioned.
