LabVIEW may be used by anyone in the University who's Departments or groups contribute towards the site license for the purpose of education and research.
We no longer issue license keys but run a license server to issue licenses. For off-line systems please email itsupport@physics.ox.ac.uk.
A limited number of personal licenses are available to University undergraduates and others who can install LabVIEW on their personal systems for the purpose of education. License details on request email itsupport@physics.ox.ac.uk.
N.B. Our LabVIEW licence includes the full LabVIEW Development Suite.
From LabVIEW version 8.2 the distribution kit contains some taster packages which can only be used in evaluation mode.
The information on the rest of this page is for internal use only in the Physics Department.
All members in Physics can install and use LabVIEW.
There are some notes on the installation of LabVIEW which may be useful for new users.
Use Self Service to install software without privileges.
Members of the Physics department may obtain LabVIEW kits from \\LOCALKITS.physics.ox.ac.uk\OxKits_LabView\ on the Physics Network System
