QUANTUM PHYSICS IN THE MACRO WORLD

The 2020 'Preparing for the PAT' course will run with in-person days in Oxford on Saturday 27th June and Saturday 10th October. Registration will open in Spring 2020.

Audience

This course is for year 12 students from state-funded schools, academies and colleges with little or no history of successful applications to the University of Oxford who are interested in applying to study Physics, Physics and Philosophy, Engineering or Materials Science. It is intended for students who are thinking of sitting the Oxford Physics Admissions Test in 2020.

The Oxford Physics Y12 Summer School will run from 27th - 31st July 2020. Anyone in Year 12 or equivalent is welcome to apply.

Placements

This year, we have a range of placements available across the department. Some of these placements cover physics research, while others cover some of the other teams that make the Physics Department work, including outreach, enterprise, grants (finance), communications and Human Resources.
