We are delighted to announce our next alumni event on 14th November at 17:30hrs GMT.

Professor Katherine Blundell OBE, a senior member of our Astrophysics Sub-department, Research Fellow at St John's College and Gresham Professor of Astronomy since 2019, will give a lecture "Watching the (rapid) evolving Universe"

Among many other projects, Prof Blundell is the founder and director of The Global Jet Watch, an international project instigated to explore the time-domain astrophysics of phenomena that vary on timescales of hours and days.
