Consulting Services is the consulting arm of Oxford University Innovation Ltd, the University’s technology transfer company.

Come and join us on 18th March 2020, 11.00am in the Simpkins Lee Room, Beecroft Building, to learn about how you can undertake consultancy activity as an integral part of your research activity whilst at Oxford. This seminar will be of interest to academics, researchers and DPhil students.

  • During this 60 - 90 minute interactive seminar we will cover topics such as:
  • What is the consultancy policy & procedures at Oxford University?
  • My physics research area is very esoteric, who’s going to want my expertise?
  • Examples of the types of consultancy work that you can undertake?
  • How to find the organisations that might need to access your expertise?
  • The key things that the University needs you to be aware of when undertaking consultancy?
  • How much should I charge for my expertise?
  • How can I consult to my own spin-out company?
  • How OUI CS can help you from start to finish of a consultancy project.

A working lunch is included in this session.
