I am a Hintze Research Fellow working on the evolution and final fates of massive single and binary stars, population synthesis models and statistical aspects of comparing observations of stars to stellar models. In particular I am interested in the evolution towards various stellar transients such as supernovae and long-duration gamma-ray bursts, and how ongoing and upcoming large surveys such as LSST can help us understand the transient Universe.

I am a member of the VLT-FLAMES Tarantula Survey and the B-Fields in OB Stars project.
