I am a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Oxford. Before that I worked as a postdoc at the California Institute of Technology and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. I received my PhD from the University of Heidelberg under the supervision of Matthias Bartelmann at the Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics.

Student supervision

During the 2016 Oxford summer programme I was supervising Quim Llorens. Quim was working on the characterisation of dark matter haloes using computer vision techniques.

During the 2015 Oxford summer programme I was supervising Íñigo Zubeldía Lafuente. Íñigo was working on wide-field gravitational lensing, using galaxies and the CMB.

I work in Cosmology with the main research interests

  • Dark matter
  • Formation of structure in the Universe
  • Clusters of galaxies
  • Gravitational lensing
  • Numerical techniques and algorithms

I am part of the following collaborations

My research is funded by the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Commission.
