Postdoctoral Research Assistant

I am a postdoc at Oxford University, and the focus of my research is to understand the nature of matter by looking for new particles produced in high-energy collisions. I cultivated my passion for physics since I was a student in Italy and after graduation I decided to pursue a career in science by getting a PhD in Switzerland, dividing myself between Bern and CERN. In parallel with my scientific work, I love to share my enthusiasm for physics with others: this can span from public scientific outreach events, to assisting undergraduate students with exercises and assignments, up to supervising them in doing real research.
