Graduate Student

I am a DPhil student supervised by Prof. Stephen Blundell. My research includes computational modelling of, and µSR experiments on:

  • frustrated magnets,
  • molecular magnets, and
  • superconductors.

I completed an MPhys at Mansfield College, University of Oxford, writing a master's thesis on simulations of low-dimensional antiferromagnetic spin systems. I have also completed a summer project in the Ultrafast Optics group at DESY (Hamburg), on the generation and control of femtosecond supercontinuum laser pulses.

I am a keen science communicator, and I participate in the following Oxford-based outreach events:

  • Levitate!
  • Accelerate!
  • Stargazing
  • Open days
  • School visits
  • Key Stage 3 Challenges

I've also featured on season 2 of Dara O Briain: School of Hard Sums, and I am currently working on updating current and creating new outreach shows for Quantum Materials.
