Postdoctoral Research Assistant

I am a post-doctoral research assistant at the University of Oxford. I work on the proposed TORCH detector, a time-of-flight particle identification detector for low momentum charged hadrons. The TORCH detector aims to be installed as part of the LHCb experiment in the future upgrade. I also study CP violation in charm mesons; a process that can lead to differences in matter and antimatter. During my DPhil I performed a search for a rare annihilation decay of a B meson.

I teach Quantum, Atomic and Laser physics to 3rd year undergraduate students at Jesus and St Anne's college.
I am also a demonstrator in the 3rd year nuclear physics lab.
