About Me!
I am a current PhD student at the University of Oxford in the field of quantum information and computing with a full fellowship from the U.S. Army Research Office. Alongside my PhD, I am a consultant and research collaborator with the quantum start-up Zapata Computing. My research and publications focus on optimizing unsupervised quantum machine learning models and parametrized quantum circuits. I have previously conducted research at Los Alamos National Laboratory, IBMQ, and research universities across three continents. I received my Bachelors in Physics from Stevens Institute of Technology and graduated with high honors.
In addition to research, I am enthusiastic about outreach and encouraging others to join fields in STEM, especially women and non-binary individuals. I co-founded the 501(c)(3) Encouraging Women Across All Borders (EWAAB), an organization who’s mission is to ensure that all young women and non-binary students have access to the mentorship and tools to succeed in their respective field. I served as the CEO of EWAAB for 2-years, and now serves as Chair of the Board, supporting the current full-time employed CEO. Additionally, I sit on Stevens Institute of Technology’s Board of Trustees, participate in alumni engagement, mentorship and speaker activities, and constantly seek consulting, marketing, and business development opportunities.
In addition, I enjoy hiking, cliff and bungee jumping, running, and traveling.
