Graduate Student

I am a third year Graduate student working towards my DPhil in Theoretical Astrophyics under Ralph Schoenrich since 2018.

I study the chemistry and dynamics of the Milky Way disc, with my current work being focussed on narrowing down the possible parameter space for the progenitors of r-process nucleosynthesis, as well as the effect of stellar rotation on galactic chemistry.

I completed my MPhys at Oxford between 2014 and 2018, as a member of Trinity College, which I remain a member of to this day.

I am currently tutoring the 4th year C1 Astrophysics course, the details of which can be found here.

Whilst my current research is focussed on the evolution, chemsitry and dynamics of our Galaxy, in the past I have done some work on expanding and refining the theory of X-Ray diffraction, with which I retain a passing interest. This work has been published in Acta Cryst V74 Part 5.
