Post-doctoral Research Fellow

I am a postdoc in the theoretical cosmology group, and a Fellow of St John's College.

My research revolves around galaxy dynamics, morphology and phenomenology. I use these to learn about modified gravity, on the one hand, and the galaxy-halo connection and galaxy formation on the other. In particular, among the questions that interest me are the following: What are the galaxy-scale consequences of theories beyond the standard models of particle physics and cosmology? Can galaxies afford tests of General Relativity that are competitive and/or complementary to others? What are the correlations between galaxy and halo properties beyond the stellar mass--halo mass relation, and how best to infer these? Is standard galaxy formation in LCDM consistent with galaxies' dynamical scaling relations?
