Katy Clough

Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Theoretical Cosmology and Gravitational Physics

Katy’s research focuses on numerical solutions to Einstein’s theory of general relativity, in cosmological and astrophysical contexts. The Einstein equations govern the evolution of matter and energy on cosmological scales, and in systems where there are strong gravitational effects, such as around black holes.

She is one of the core developers of GRChombo, an open-source code for numerical general relativity simulations, see http://www.grchombo.org/.

Please see Katy’s website for further details of her research and publications at https://kaclough.github.io/.
