I am a student in Professor Henry Snaith’s Photovoltaic and Optoelectronic Device group, funded by the ESPRC. My research is focussed on the interlayer between different perovskites for multi-junction high performance solar cells via HiPIMS sputtering. Photovoltaic energy is our best chance to displace fossil fuel-generated energy and mitigate effects of the climate crisis. The main characterisation tools I use are x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopy.
