Thank you to all alumni who have registered in the Physics website...those of you who have, would have received advance notice for a series of events that we are planning for the coming months.

During February, we will host the following events:

February 7th London - Networking event and drinks reception at the Oxford & Cambridge Club, Pall Mall, London. An informal gathering, drinks and canapés reception and lecture. Hosted by Dr James Dodd (St Cross/Keble ’73) and Dr John Wheater (current Head of Department of Physics). Starts 18:30 hs.

February 17th Oxford - Special lecture 'Low Temperature Physics and Physicists Six decades ago' Professor B S Chandrasekhar (Walther Meissner Institute, Bavarian Academy of Arts and Sciences) is an Oxford Physics Alumnus and Rhodes Scholar, and will talk to us about Low temperature Physics and physicists Six Decades Ago. He finished his D.Phil. at the Clarendon in 1952. Starts 16:00 hs followed by tea and cakes at 17:00 hs. Guests welcome.
