I joined the Life Sciences Interface Doctoral Training Centre in October 2009, and have been a member of the physics department and the Berry group since August 2010. I am working as part of a synthetic biology project called NANOCELL and aim to create a synthetic biological swimmer on the microscale. Consequently my work so far has encompassed both the bacterial flagellar motor and the F1-ATPase. I am a member of University College. I previously studied at Cambridge and Imperial.
