Research Fellow

Anthony Rushton is a researcher in the Astrophysics group at Oxford, with particular interests in the areas of jets, accretion disks and radio transients. Prior to this he was an ESO fellow working for the European ALMA Regional Centre and a PhD student at the Jodrell Bank Observatory.

His current research is funded by a Marie Curie fellowship from the European Commission and works very closely with Rob Fender's 4 PI SKY group.

Anthony Rushton's research is broadly divided into studying compact objects (like Black holes and Neutron stars) and developing new radio interferometers, such as ALMA and SKA.
