I am a D.Phil student working in the Climate Dynamics group at AOPP. My research focuses on attempts to understand the response of the climate system to anthropogenic forcing in terms of physically-based, lower-dimensional representations of the behaviour of climate response in many climatological variables of interest to society and policy makers. I also attempt to understand the physical mechanisms behind simulated changes in the climate system. I am supervised by Professor Myles Allen, Dr William Ingram and Dr Jason Lowe (UK Met Office). My research is conducted in part by using the climateprediction.net distributed computing project to run climate modelling experiments.
