I am a second-year DPhil student in the Planetary Data Analysis group. My supervisor is Prof. Patrick Irwin.

I am currently looking at global changes in visible cloud structure and discrete features in the Jovian atmosphere through radiative transfer analysis of ground-based spectroscopic data in the visible-to-near-infrared, as well as analysing changes in Jovian cloud colour due to the presence of a set of foreign substances known as 'chromophores', with the eventual aim of deducing their composition and origin. These observations are made in support of the Juno mission, relating observed changes at the tops of the Jovian cloud layers with changes in the deep troposphere, hence building a clearer picture of Jovian atmospheric processes.
