Intel Compilers
This is a general csh script for setting up Intel compilers in AOPP which may be added to log-in scripts, e.g. ~/.login . It tries to find the newest available compiler on the system. Intel Compiler Installation Notes (from University Servers).
You may do the following when installing the Intel Compiler.
The instructions given here are for the FORTRAN compiler on a Windows system. Details will vary with different versions of the compiler and different platforms (Windows/Linux).
The Linux installation kits contain installation instructions.
1. Copy the kit to a local directory.

Windows compilers.
You may obtain the Intel Compiler kits from \\LOCALKITS.physics.ox.ac.uk\OxKits_IntelCompilers\ on the Physics Network System using the instructions for obtaining kits.
An Intel Compiler licence is required.

Each compiler kit includes the C++ or FORTRAN compiler and the Intel Math Kernel Library.
In general the Windows version is licensed from the Physics licence server and the Linux compilers are licensed from the University licence server. However, that's varied over time and so the University licence server also provides some licences for older Windows versions.
